Season of Change

This is surely a season of change.
Time to grow and learn from pains and hardship.
Time to trust God that His plans are good.
There is time for everything.

And now is the time to put faith into actions.

you wouldn't believe this. my faith is being tested. just after you told me how much God loves me, someone actually came and basically did the rudest thing in my face ...
1. invites me a few weeks ago for dinner
2. then tells me a week before that they postponed to following week because someone else can't make it
3. I say I can't make it on the new date
4. They say, it's OK ... there'll be other times ... i say ok
5. a day before the original dinner date, they ask me if i was still free to go ...i say ok
6. on dinner day, they say they would have to cancel again ... dinner quota was used up by some unexpected guests the night before and now something else better came up so they have to cancel again!!!!
7. she asks "is that ok?"
8. I say OK. (What was I supposed to say after such a ding dong exchange - no that it's not OK???? I wouldn't want to have dinner with them anymore at this rate would I????? duhhhhh ....

talk about authenticity & integritry but that's no license for treating others badly ... absolutely insincere in their intentions and friends ... I have been taken for granted and treated as "by the way ... but" sort of friend.

i so cannot believe what i just experienced! thank God for his love ...

Communion After we celebrated Huey's birthday in cell on the 29/5/14, I brought out my wine and bread that I've bought from Jaya Grocer with the prompting of the Holy Spirit to have communion with Huey, honouring her and God as we journey in this refreshing time of experiencing God together and intimately. Initially I thought of the idea of communion to be the usual ritual that we do on the first week of Sunday; little did I know God had a different plan in mind for us. After we sat down and I surprised her with the wine and the bread I bought, we truly had communion and devotion together with each other and in the presence of God. Make Room

Never knew I enjoy expressing myself through writing my thoughts down. Was it therapy or was it the lack of avenue to truly experience freedom in personal expression? If there's something I learned studying theology, it's probably both/and rather than 'or'. It's been 5 years since I've posted something on this blog. Honestly, I didn't know it was still hosted! It's been a crazy few years and the journey of how I felt led to join Alpha Asia Pacific is another post for another day. Now that I'm here, 10 months in, I think a reflection and a review is due. I got what I came for, Growth! I was certainly stretched! I had to learn and grow or be left behind. It's like being a beginner again. I enjoyed learning in Alpha and in htbb; the process was hard. The Movie In India

We (Me, Simon, Meeri (Varathan's brother), Kim and Ethan when to the cinema for a movie last night. We when there expecting that no one will watch a English movie entitled "Be Cool". Yea, I know what you're thinking. "We're kinda outdated here." It was so cool, I took a picture of us in the cinema. Actually Meeri took it. Anyway, we when there on a "tuk tuk" or more like the "auto" with 3 wheels and no door kinda small motor thingi. 5 Of us plus the driver was in that small mini "auto". It was alright actually. Quite fun ride, not to mention, Scary! So we reached there and guess what? The movie tickets were SOLD OUT! And we're so sad. BUT the miracle happen, one guy told us about ppl asking the manager and getting tickets from him. I'm like, well, it's worth a try.
