God wants to Heal
Why am I up at this ungodly hour?
I should have inquire of the Lord earlier about what He wants to do today in church.
He wants to heal
I believe God wants to heal us from every deseases, sickness, illness; and also our soul, our doubt, our emptiness, our spirit. He wants to restore and part of that restoration is healing as healing is bringing an abnormal condition back to it's Eden like qualities where everything is as it should be.
Funny that after I shared this with my wife, she jumped for joy (not literally) and said "yey! That means we humbled ourselves." [if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14]. Humbling of self and acknowledging our dependency on God, repent, pray and seek His face; turning from our wicked ways. God will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land.
The Inquiry
It's a scary thing when I pray and ask God "What do You want to do this Sunday during worship?". Problem is not what He will reveal to those who earnestly seek Him and His will, or what He wants to do or say. But when should I say, "Thanks Dad, I think that's enough." or "What else do You want to say or do?". Then I find that the latter sentence is much more time consuming but so much more interesting with details etc to hear what the Father wants to do and longs to do for His children.
I recently prayed for God to make me an empty vessel, a clear path for Him to just use/take so that He can have an unadulterated line to speak, minister, heal, basically do anything He wants to do to me and through me.
The Call
Of course after He reveals His mysteries and the good things He longs to do, He beckons me to join Him to be apart of that ministry. Scary thing is, it requires a little more faith in Him to believe that it will happen. The need to empty ourselves, so that God may be glorified in us and through us. He calls for you and I to ask so that we will receive, seek in order to find, knock at the door of heaven and pray "may Your Kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven". May Your kingdom come and be establish in my life as it is in heaven.
The Prophetic
What is like to be a prophetic worship leader (if there is such a term) is to be a vessel who ask, seek and knock at His throne room to inquire "Father, what would you like to do this day?" and be obedient and do exactly that. The truth is, when we're constantly walking in the Spirit, God is always speaking to us who have ears to hear and heart to understand. One thing I love about Him is that I believe He speaks clearly and doesn't cast confusion. Our doubts and familiarity are the things that will hinder us from seeing, hearing and perceiving Him. Just like how Jesus didn't do many miracles in His hometown.
The Price
Our obedience. I find spending time to listen to what the Spirit is saying is the start towards the prophetic. Being rooted in the Word to understand and to check if what I'm hearing is truth or just one of my 'clever' ideas really helps me distinguish my thoughts from His thoughts. Exercising faith is also part of this journey of obedience to whatever He entrusted us to be apart of.
So I'm really looking forward to see what God has installed when we come together corporately to be One heart, One family, One voice as we worship this One and only God. To Him be the glory, forever.
